Master Data Domains Covered by the Public Cloud Versions

The Business Partner domain is the first data domain model supported by SAP Master Data Governance, cloud edition, and SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, master data governance. You can use this data model for all business partner roles, however, the employee role is not supported. SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, master data governance also supports the Product Domain Model.

SAP Master Data Governance, Cloud Edition: Overview

SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) is an open Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering that delivers in-memory capabilities, core platform services, and unique services for building and extending the intelligent, mobile-enabled cloud application. SAP BTP is the foundation for SAP Master Data Governance, cloud edition.

SAP offers different kinds of capabilities for different scenarios. Depending on the use cases, you can combine the capabilities and choose the required solutions.

SAP Master Data Governance falls under the Data and Analytics capability.

SAP Master Data Governance, cloud edition is a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution that supports you in maintaining a high level of master data quality, offering capabilities to manage the core attributes of business partners and to evaluate their quality. It offers the capability to centrally govern core business partner data to kick-start an MDG initiative at low entry barriers.

Govern Business Partners

With SAP Master Data Governance, cloud edition you can centrally govern your Business Partner master data and improve its data quality at the core data level:

  • Create master data in line with business processes
  • Consolidate master data into a single view for accurate analytics and operational insight
  • Define, enforce, monitor, and improve master data quality in one application

You can process core Business Partner master data (such as name and address) with the features Central Governance for Business Partner, Consolidation for Business Partner, and Data Quality Management for Business Partner.
