Geographic Content
Geographic content using SAP HANA spatial services (HSS) is now supported. The SAP IBP apps Intelligent Visibility, Analytics Advanced, and Planner Workspaces can display the maps from SAP HANA spatial services.
Administrators can use the integration scenario SAP_COM_0630 to configure the integration of the geographic content.
Integration with the other map providers is also supported. Customers must have a license to enable mapping content integration (for example, from Esri).
Administrators can use the integration scenario SAP_COM_0583 to configure this integration.
Visibility to Execution Status
If you have access to the target system, you can navigate to the transportation management document to see more details.
The order execution can be tracked from the Intelligent Visibility Document Details page by navigating to SAP Business Network Global Track and Trace and SAP Business Network Freight Collaboration. This functionality is enabled only for SAP Transportation Management documents Freight Order and Freight Booking.
Communication arrangements need to be configured for integrating with SAP Transportation Management (SAP S/4HANA or standalone) via the following communication scenarios:
- SAP Cloud Connector Integration (SAP_COM_0200)
- Planning - Transportation Management Information Integration (SAP_COM_0661)
The integration with the SAP Business Network for Logistics is only possible via SAP Transportation Management documents.
The following communication scenario needs to be configured in addition:
- SAP Cloud Connector Integration (SAP_COM_0574)
- The SAP Logistics Business Network (SAP_COM_804)
