The Information on Cost Estimate button in the Manage Material Cost Estimates Fiori app, provides explanation facilities that enable the cost planner to access data in the costing environment directly from the cost estimate screen. The available explanation facilities depend on the cost of the object.

Explanation Facilities

It's purpose is to provide direct access from the cost estimate to master data, customizing and control parameter data.
