This is an overview of SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway Administration. The topics are covered in other courses will not be covered in this course.

SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway Features and Functions course is the logical progression of various configuration activities the user needs to perform for selected features or transactions.

SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA (on-premise) software components:

A brief overview of SAP Cloud Platform Cloud Connector (CC):

• The CC serves as the link between SAP Cloud Platform and existing on premise systems.
• It combines an easy setup with a clear configuration of the systems that are exposed to SAP Cloud Platform.
• The cloud connector runs as on premise agent in a secured network and acts as a reverse invoke proxy between the on premise network and SAP Cloud Platform.
• Due to its reverse invoke support, you don't need to configure the on premise firewall to allow external access from the cloud to internal systems.
• A single CC supports connectivity with multiple backend SAP systems.

The AddOn for SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway allows you to send or receive documents from SAP Ariba solutions and SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA (on-premise) systems. This AddOn has multiple nodes to enable you to perform required configuration activities in a sequential manner.

In this AddOn, you will typically find nodes for Global Settings; General Settings and Application Specific Settings.

Global Settings are the set of configuration activities you need to perform irrespective of the integration of any SAP Ariba solutions - Ariba Network Integration or SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing Solution or SAP Ariba Procurement Integration.

General Settings are the set of configuration activities you need to perform for a specific integration irrespective of any transactions / documents that you are adopting.

Application Specific Settings are the set of configuration activities you need to perform for that specific transaction / document.

When you download AddOn from SAP Service Marketplace, a file with .SAR extension gets downloaded. SAP's Add-On Installation Tool (transaction code - SAINT) enables users to install and / or upgrade AddOn directly from their standard SAP system.

You do not need to access the operating system or restart the system. Prior to installation, numerous import conditions are checked to ensure that only AddOn that fit the available SAP system can be installed.

Follow the Instruction Wizard to complete the process. This activity is carried out by SAP BASIS Admin person / team.

Once the software component is downloaded from SAP Service Marketplace & installed on your SAP system, user needs to perform following activities to configure SAP Ariba AddOn:

1. Define authorizations to run supported transactions
2. Enable integration through middleware (optional if you are using mediated connectivity)
3. Define Global Settings
4. Configure Attachment & Comments
5. Map Variants & Partitions
6. Customize Parameter & Pre-filter Values
7. Define general Settings for Ariba Network Integration
8. Define general Settings for SAP Ariba Sourcing Integration
9. Define general Settings for SAP Ariba Procurement Integration

In order to establish the connectivity with CIG, under global settings user needs to:

1. Maintain Certificates

6. SAP Data Sync – Send SAP system information to CIG

In order to enable the flow of messages between SAP System & Ariba Network, under General Settings user needs to:

• Setup the Interface
• BAdIs for Setting Up Interface
• Create Partner Profile for House Bank
• Configure Document Status Update
• Enable Supply Chain Collaboration (based on requirement)
• Enable Vendors
• Maintain Vendor for the Outbound Transaction
• Enable External Format Conversion
• Plant Specific Time Zone Conversion

In order to enable the flow of messages between SAP System & SAP Ariba Sourcing solutions, under General Settings user needs to:

• Setup the Interface
• BAdIs for Setting Up Interface

In order to enable the flow of messages between SAP System & SAP Ariba Procurement solutions, under General Settings user needs to:

• Setup the Interface
• BAdIs for Setting Up the Interface
• Maintain Timestamp

Maintain timestamp for following extracts:

• Remittance
• PO Close
• Advance Payment Remittance
• Send Invoice Status to P2P

The SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway is currently hosted on the following data centers:

• Europe
• US

The following is the default data center for new CIG customers:

• Europe data center for customers with their Ariba Network company profile set to a country outside the North, Central, or South American countries.
• Europe data center for customers using SAP Ariba application configured to a data center other than the US.
• US data center for customers with the country field in their Ariba Network company profile set to North, Central, or South American countries.
• US data center for customers using SAP Ariba applications in US Data Center.

The SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway can be accessed from following Ariba Apps depending upon the solutions & flows you have adopted:

• Ariba Network
• SAP Ariba Sourcing
• SAP Ariba Procurement

Once ERP system information is added, you will be navigated to Home page of your CIG account.

Home Page contains following –

1. Integration Projects
   • Displays all the projects & it’s statuses.
   • Allows user to view; create; edit or delete the project.
2. Supplier Reporting
   • Displays all the projects of connected suppliers & it’s statuses.

   • Provides visibility on the status of supplier on-boarding.

3. Transaction Tracker
   • Track the transaction documents that you have sent & received.
   • Download payloads & attachments
4. List of available integration projects under My Projects
5. Create a New Integration Project button

The mapping tool is introduced to enable more self service in CIG and to cope up with huge demand of custom mappings.

Using this feature the buyer can do the following:

• Create & Edit Customization
• Deploy/ Undeploy & Manage versions
• Test
• Compare

Flow:

• CIG first executes the standard mappings.
• Then Custom XLSTs added via SRs are executed.
• Lastly CIG executes the custom mappings added via Mapping Tool.

Buyers can use custom routing to route transaction documents to the specific ERP client system based on the system ID of the ERP system and certain conditions.

Using this feature the buyer can do the following:

• Create & Edit Custom Routing for Document Type
• xPATH Based Document Routing

SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway provides you the tools to test your connections with the SAP Ariba solution & validate transactions to make them error free.

• Connectivity Tool: To check and ensure that the connection "TO" & "FROM" SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway is working.
• Document Validator: To validate the schema & the content of source document, test mapping transformation, and display the result.
