Video Summary
The Learning Needs Management Model used in SAP SuccessFactors Learning is a comprehensive approach to managing learning and development within an organization. The following steps explain how the model works.
- Managers or Administrators may assign a learning entity (Items, Curricula, Programs, or Classes) to the user’s My Learning Assignments tile.
- Managers or Administrators may also place learning entities in Libraries.
- Users can browse and self-assign learning from Libraries.
- Once a learning event is completed, it is recorded in the user’s Learning History.
- Administrators can generate reports for users based on the status of assigned, in-progress, and completed learning.

By implementing the enterprise-wide SAP SuccessFactors Learning, your organization can easily track and report on the current training status of your user population.
The system enables you to perform the following tasks:
- Identify who needs specific training.
- Assign and schedule training sessions.
- Monitor registrations.
- Track which users attempted/completed the training curriculum requirements.
