Decisions Checklist

Based on the content in this section, please review the list of implementation decisions your company may need to make before implementation begins and discuss them with your stakeholders, project team, and SAP SuccessFactors implementation consultants. In this way, you will be better prepared to begin the implementation.

  • Who will be responsible for maintaining the User Data File? Do you already have a unique identifier for your users?
  • Do you have a hierarchical structure clearly defined?
  • Do you have matrix managers and/or HR managers in your organization? If so, are they identified for each matrix report and/or HR report?
  • What other roles does your organization currently use?
  • How many roles do you think you will need to manage the permissions in the system?
  • Do you use competencies in your organization?
    • If so, for what purpose do you use them (performance reviews, career planning, learning, etc.)
    • How do you link the competencies with your users?
