How can I get certified? Which steps should I follow?

Yes, to ensure your results count and are tracked, you must enter your SAP user ID in the appropriate registration field. If you do not have an SAP user ID, please contact a local SAP representative (visit the contact page at <a href="https://training.sap.com/" target="_blank">SAP Training Shop</a>). When you have more than one S-User it is important to log on to SAP Learning using the S-/P-user that the SAP Certification subscription is assigned to. Please log out of SAP Learning and log on again using the S-/P- user that is assigned to the SAP Certification subscription. Ensure that your S-/P- users are linked to your SAP Universal ID (see “How to link second email account to universal ID”).

 Do I need to enter my SAP user ID when registering for an SAP Certification exam? 

Taking an exam is easy, but because the exams are secure and proctored there are some technical requirements.  There are two primary things that need to be set up prior to taking your exam: <ol><li> Latest version of Questionmark Secure </li><li> Real-time Communication Components </li></ol>Preparing Questionmark Secure:<ul><li>Install Questionmark Secure  <a href="https://support.questionmark.com/content/get-questionmark-secure" target="_blank">from this link</a>, the specialized browser that works with the exam delivery system. There is a Windows and a Mac client.  The link below will enable you to install and detect the version of Questionmark Secure installed. </li><li>Use this link to detect installation of Questionmark Secure: <a href="https://staging.ondemand.questionmark.eu/Lobby/602065/QSB/Setup" target="_blank"> Install/Detect Questionmark Secure</a>.</li><li>If you have a previous version of Questionmark Secure installed, we recommend uninstalling the older version and make sure that you have the most recent version installed.</li></ul>Real-time Communication Components Ensure the following are functional and enabled for real-time communication: <ul><li>A working built-in or external webcam and microphone </li><li>Internet speed must be at least 2 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload. </li><li>Browser with pop-up blocker disabled </li><li>Use this link to test real-time communication components:  <a href="https://prod.examity.com/systemcheck/ComputerReadinessCheck1.aspx" target="_blank">Test real-time communication components and bandwidth</a></li><li>The real-time communication with the proctor is accomplished using a Zoom meeting. Zoom is a web conferencing application, and you'll be prompted to install or run it in the process of connecting with the proctor. You don't have to install it ahead of time. </li></ul>

What are the technical requirements for taking an exam? 

At least 24 hours prior to your exam, test your system using the System Test provided on the home page of the SAP Certification Hub. The link will be provided after you purchase your exam. Contact sapcertification@questionmark.com if you receive any warnings about your equipment.

How do I test my system and prepare my equipment? 

You can set your local time zone in Certification Hub by clicking “My Account”. Setting your local time zone is important because it will affect the exam appointment times available to you. If you do not set your local time zone, then the system will default to using the UTC time zone and all dates-times will presented as UTC.

How and where can I set my time zone in Certification Hub?

You need to use your SAP user ID credentials (username and password) to log on to the system. Your photo ID will be also checked by the remote proctor before you take your exam.You will be required to present two forms of valid identification (cannot be expired). Both pieces of ID must bear your name and signature, and at least one must be a valid government-issued photo ID. Your photo ID will be checked by the remote proctor before you take your exam.Valid means of identification include:<ul style="text-align: left;"><li style="text-align: left;">Signed government-issued passport*</li><li>Signed driver’s license (must include photo)</li><li>Signed military ID card</li><li>Student/University card</li><li>National ID card</li></ul>Please note there is an exception for Japan, China and Korea:<ul><li>International passport in Latin letters (no second ID necessary)</li><li>A credit card with Latin Letters and also a local written government-issued ID with a picture</li></ul>*A passport can be accepted as a primary form of ID for a candidate even if it does not have a signature as long as it is determined to be valid and there is no designated place for a signature (e.g., biometric passport). When presenting a biometric passport with no signature, candidates will also be required to present a secondary form of identification bearing their full name and signature, e.g., a debit or credit card.

What is needed to identify myself for an SAP Certification exam so that the proctor knows it is me and not someone else? 

You can ask the proctor for help, if you encounter a technical problem. You will be able to use chat and audio to communicate with the proctor before the exam begins. Once the exam begins, you will be to use only audio to communicate with the proctor.If you need additional assistance, please email <a href="mailto:sapcertification@questionmark.com" target="_blank">sapcertification@questionmark.com</a> or use the Chat function on the Certification Hub.

How do I get help if I encounter a technical problem during my exam? 

Technical problems can occur. Proctors will do their best to resolve them in a timely fashion and to reduce the impact on your ability to perform on the exam.  If during the exam you encounter a computer malfunction or lose your internet connection, please follow these guidelines: <ul><li>Don't panic. Leave your computer as is and check your power supplies, network cables, and any other physical resources that may have cause the loss of connection. </li><li>When the proctor detects that you have lost your connection, the proctor will automatically pause the exam to preserve its integrity.</li><li>If you are able to re-establish the connection without shutting down your computer, then it should be possible to communicate with the proctor again and for the proctor to unlock your exam so you may resume. </li><li>If you are unable to re-establish connection after 5 minutes, the proctor is required to cancel the exam attempt. In this case, an attempt will not be deducted from your subscription.  You will need to schedule a new appointment for the exam. </li><li>If you need additional assistance you can email <a href="maitlto:sapcertification@questionmark.com " target="_blank">sapcertification@questionmark.com</a> at any time from the Certification Hub. </li></ul>

What do I do if my computer crashes or I lose connection while taking an exam?

No, it is not possible to take a break during the exam. However, if an urgent matter or technical problem arises, you should immediately communicate with your proctor by chat or audio.

Is it possible to take a break during an SAP Certification exam? 

During the exam you can increase the font size of the exam. If you need further assistance due to a disability, please inform our service provider upfront via <a href="mailto:sapcertification@questionmark.com" target="_blank">euaccountmanagers@questionmark.com.</a>

What accessibility options are available for my exam? 

Before you begin the exam, you will get the option to choose your exam language. Then you can choose your exam language. Your proctor will also assist you in choosing your exam language before the exam begins. Exam proctors speak English only.In addition, we also offer to use an Instant Translate tool during the exam that allows you to translate all questions into 8 languages: Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. Please note that using the machine translation function is purely voluntary and not at all required. Therefore, please make sure you include the use in your planning when you prepare for an SAP Certification exam.Please note that the machine translation tool is continuously improved. In case a translation is missing, we are working on including them in the future. Please make sure your internet connection is stable to support the machine translation function. How and when do I choose the exam language? 

An attempt will be deducted each time you successfully submit an exam.&nbsp;An attempt will NOT be deducted under these circumstances:&nbsp;<ul><li>The proctor has to pause your exam and it cannot be resumed.&nbsp;</li><li>You lose internet connectivity midway through the exam and are unable to reconnect in time to resume the exam.&nbsp;</li><li>If an error or technical problems prevent you from completing the exam.&nbsp;</li><li>In the event of any technical issues preventing you from completing your exam, your proctor will advise you to schedule a new attempt at another time, after the issue has been resolved. </li></ul>&nbsp;If you believe an attempt was deducted in error, please contact <a href="mailto:sapcertification@questionmark.com" target="_blank">sapcertification@questionmark.com</a>. &nbsp;

When is an exam attempt considered used and thus deducted from my subscription? 

With passing an SAP Certification exam you will be issued via email with a digital badge that allows a real time verification so a download of a certificate will not be needed anymore. The SAP Certification digital badge can easily be shared via social networks or email. You can also download a PDF. To manage your badge, make sure to create a Credly account. <a href="https://www.credly.com/users/sign_in" target="_blank">Credly</a> is an open digital badge system that provides badge definitions and related graphics, as well as technology and procedures for assessing, awarding, and delivering badges. No costs are associated with claiming and sharing badges.

I am having problems claiming or sharing my badge. What should I do? 

In case you do not see on <a href="https://learning.sap.com/my-learning/certifications" target="_blank">My Learning Certifications (sap.com)</a> &nbsp;a link to "view certification" that links you to your digital badge, the badge was issued to another email domain than those you use to log on to SAP Learning. In this case, please add this email address you used to log on to SAP Learning also to your <a href="https://www.credly.com/users/sign_in" target="_blank">Credly </a>account.&nbsp;
