Getting certified - FAQs

1

How can I get certified? Which steps should I follow?

Please follow this step-by-step guide  to find out how to get certified.

2

Do I need to enter my SAP user ID when registering for an SAP Certification exam?

Yes, to ensure your results count and are tracked, you must enter your SAP user ID in the appropriate registration field. If you do not have an SAP user ID, please contact a local SAP representative (visit the contact page at  SAP Training Shop). When you have more than one S-User it is important to log on to SAP Learning using the S-/P-user that the SAP Certification subscription is assigned to. Please log out of SAP Learning and log on again using the S-/P- user that is assigned to the SAP Certification subscription. Ensure that your S-/P- users are linked to your SAP Universal ID (see “How to link second email account to universal ID”).

How can I download my digital badge?

With passing an SAP Certification exam you will be issued via email with a digital badge that allows a real time verification so a download of a certificate will not be needed anymore. The SAP Certification digital badge can easily be shared via social networks or email. You can also download a PDF.

To manage your badge, make sure to create a Credly account. Credly is an open digital badge system that provides badge definitions and related graphics, as well as technology and procedures for assessing, awarding, and delivering badges. No costs are associated with claiming and sharing badges.

4

I am having problems claiming or sharing my badge. What should I do?

Please reach out to the Credly Help Center.

5

How to find my digital badge?

In case you do not see on My Learning Certifications  a link to "view certification" that links you to your digital badge, the badge was issued to another email domain than those you use to log on to SAP Learning.
In this case, please add this email address you used to log on to SAP Learning also to your Credly account.

6

I have passed a certification exam but I didn't receive the digital badge.

Please check the primary email address of your SAP Universal ID which can be checked by following below steps:

  1. Access the SAP Universal ID Account Manager.
  2. The primary email address mentioned under "My Account" section.

Your badge will always be issued to the primary email address on Credly.
If you have multiple Credly accounts, please merge them as per How do I merge my accounts

In case, the badge is issued to the email, which is not registered on Credly, you need to please follow below steps to unify the email address in one Credly account, along with the associated badge as per the guide Can I add multiple emails to my account?

7

Where can I see my used attempts?

In case you want to see how many attempts are left you find this information on "My subscriptions".
Please be informed that exam results are only visible on the SAP Certification Hub for 12 month.
Your achieved certifications are listed on "My Certifications".
