Course delivery FAQs

If your course includes exercises, you’ll receive a digital  participant handbook containing them, plus a separate exercise book for easy printing.

For courses without exercises, you’ll receive only the participant handbook. Please note that most training materials are provided in English.

The language refers to the language that will be spoken during the course.
The digital training material is usually in English, but you can check the availability of specific courses by creating a case under the category 'Learning and certification advice'.

We will send the digital certificate of attendance to your email address within two weeks of the course's end date. 

When enrolling in a hybrid course, you are required to select either in-person or virtual attendance for the full duration of the course.
Changing between the two formats is not permitted under normal circumstances.
However, in exceptional cases — such as illness or unexpected travel restrictions — a change may be considered. To request it, please contact our SAP Learning Support team by submitting a case under the category “Learning and Certification Advice.” We recommend doing so prior to your next scheduled training session.

We send joining instructions for virtual training sessions to learners approximately 5 days before the course starts.

We deliver our public virtual training using the Zoom video conferencing system.
Approximately 5 working days prior to the course start you will receive a ‘Virtual classroom details’ e-mail from SAP with:

• Zoom meeting details
• Link to training materials

Please ensure that the computer used by the student is ready for the class by checking this quick guide.
You will need a webcam, and for the best audio experience, a headset with a built-in mic.
Please test Zoom with your web camera and audio using the instructions in the Zoom help center.

You will receive an email from SAP approximately 5 business days before the course begins. It will include the exact start date and time.

If you need to convert the time in the email to your local time, you can use the online converter.

If the course has not yet officially started, please wait for the instructor to admit you to the class.
If the class has already officially started and you have not been admitted to the class yet, please create a case in our SAP Learning self-service portal by selecting the Learning Virtual Class Support.

The instructor usually joins the class well before it officially begins.
If there is no instructor 10 minutes after the start, you can contact the SAP team from whom you received the Zoom meeting details prior to the course start. 

If the course is offered in both in-person and virtual formats within the same country, you can find the in-person location on the course’s product page — just search using the course code. All available dates and locations for that country will be listed there.
If the virtual training is marked with the hybrid delivery icon but no in-person option appears in your selected country catalogue, please contact us and create a case in our SAP Learning self-service portal.
