Practice systems support

1

How can I start with accessing practice systems?

You can find an overview of available practice system items on the SAP Learning site

2

What’s the difference between practice systems and sandbox?

Practice systems
are specifically configured for a course and include exercises, guided tasks, and pre-set scenarios designed to help you learn and apply course material step by step.

The sandbox
is an open environment where you can freely experiment, test, build use cases, or practice without being tied to a specific course or structured exercises. It’s a great space to explore and try out ideas on your own.

3

How do I enroll to a course with practice systems?

On the SAP Learning site, you can search for your desired product or course name. With a valid SAP Learning Hub subscription, you can access the practice systems by clicking on the desired resource card and clicking the “Enroll” button.
4

What is a system time frame?

System time frame refers to the time the practice system is available to you. During this time, you can practice and deepen your skills in the live system hands-on. When the period is over, you will no longer have access to the practice system. This is shown in the pop window after clicking “Enroll” – Available from and until. Please be mindful of this date to complete your learning. Your access to the system will be discontinued when the validity date has passed.
5

Can I extend my enrollment?

Practice system Enrollment has a static end date that cannot be extended, but you can enroll again after the expiration date.
6

I cannot view my subscriptions to practice systems in my profile. How many hours do I have left in my subscription?

We have updated our system and removed the 60-hour limit accessing practice systems.
7

Can I enroll to multiple courses?

Yes, you can enroll to two courses simultaneously, with no hour limit.
This means you may take as much time, within the validity time frame, to complete your exercises.

8

What is the overview page?

The overview page is the page where you enroll to a practice system.
9

I received the error notification " You've reached the maximum allowed number of active enrollments." How can I enroll in another course?

If you receive this notification, it means you have reached the maximum number of enrollments for our systems. If you want to switch to a different course, please remove one of your existing enrolments in to sign up for a new course.  You can find a list of your current enrolments in My Learning.
10

How long do I need to wait before accessing the practice system?

When enrolling in a practice system, the preparation time before it is ready to be accessed is displayed. Depending on the course, some systems are available immediately, while others may take up to 90 minutes to prepare.
A notification message on the upper right-hand corner of the page will inform when the system is running and ready to be accessed.
11

Where can I find my user group number?

Your user group number can be found when enrolling to the practice system or in my learning.
When you see ## or XX in the exercise description, please insert your assigned user group number.

Why is the group number important?
Some practice systems are “shared systems” meaning you are sharing the system with other users. To make sure that data of other users is not changed or deleted please use your assigned group number which is exclusively for you.

12

Where can I find my credentials and exercises?

The credentials, as well as hints on the exercises, known issues, and additional system setup tasks can be found in the setup guide. The links to the course setup guide and exercises are located at your enrolled course tile.
13

My enrollment has been removed automatically. Why?

Enrollment will be automatically removed when the practice system for your selected course expires.

Past enrollments are listed in the  area under Practice Systems > Archived

14

I am looking for a specific course but cannot locate it under the Practice Systems listing page. What other ways can I find it?

If you can't find the course you're interested in under Hands-on Practice, it's not available for self-paced learning at this time.
You can check the SAP Learning site for relevant Learning Journeys or browse other courses on the SAP Training Shop.
