Writing Assistant in Performance Forms

The Writing Assistant has the following features:

  • Writing Assistant provides guidance on suggested comments within the Performance Review and 360 Review forms.

  • You can access it within the standard competency libraries, and you can create it for custom competency libraries.

  • When you turn it on for a section, users can see the Writing Assistant inside the performance form’s competency section(s).

Give Feedback Using the Writing Assistant in Performance Forms

Steps

  1. You can access the Writing Assistant when completing a Performance Form or 360 Review form by selecting the Writing Assistant button.

  2. The Writing Assistant dialog box appears.

  3. In the Writing Assistant dialog box, you can select the level of behavior that most closely describes the employee. Each level of behavior has teasers, which describe the behavior.

  4. You can adjust the positivity of the language in the text and choose the voice.

  5. Select Place Quote to automatically insert the customized comment into the comment box.

The Give Advice Tab in Performance Forms

The Give Advice tab provides guidance relevant to the competency being rated. It offers developmental suggestions and concepts that address a defined problem or encourage an employee’s strength. The text displays on the Give Advice tab in the order determined in the performance details.

This feature is available within the standard competency libraries, and you can create it for custom competency libraries. When an administrator configures this within a competency library, the tab is called Coaching Advice.
