Robert, our new consolidation consultant, wants to:
- Use the Data Monitor in SAP S/4HANA Finance for group reporting to verify the task status for each consolidation unit upon execution of all Data Mappings.
- Perform additional tasks such as executing the Calculate Net Income task in the Data Monitor when the annual net income and current year retained earnings FS items were not included in the source files.
- Check the results of the data uploads for integrated company TA00 in a report.
When all Data Mappings in SAP S/4HANA Finance for group reporting Data Collection are executed, use the Data Monitor in SAP S/4HANA Finance for group reporting to check the task status for each consolidation unit.
The task status for consolidation unit TA00 indicates that a "Data Collection" had taken place. In our scenario, this status contains:
- The data upload from table ACDOCA into table ACDOCU using SAP S/4HANA Finance for group reporting Data Collection and
- The data correction upload within table ACDOCU using SAP S/4HANA Finance for group reporting Data Collection.
For the external consolidation units ES30, IT30, and PT30 each of the CSV File uploads into table ACDOCU using SAP S/4HANA Finance for group reporting Data Collection is also represented as the execution of the Data Collection task in the Data Monitor.
Since the source files used in SAP S/4HANA Finance for group reporting Data Collection did not include the annual net income FS Item 799000 - Net Income/Loss nor the current year retained earnings FS Item 317000 - Net Income, the execution of the Calculate Net Income task has to be done in the Data Monitor after execution of Run Data Mapping in SAP S/4HANA Finance for group reporting Data Collection.
The figure above also shows the results when the Calculate Net Income task is executed.
As an example the figure above shows the data of integrated consolidation unit TA00, which was imported with SAP S/4HANA Finance for group reporting Data Collection. The report was created using the Group Data Analysis tile in SAP S/4HANA Finance for group reporting.
The highlighted rows for FS item 172100 - Investment in Subsidiaries refer to the data import from table ACDOCA to table ACDOCU (document type 0D) and to the correction import within table ACDOCU (document type 07).
