Displaying Table Definition and Content

To open the table definition from the table list, right-click the table name, and choose Open from the context menu. The table definition shows the following information. Column name SQL Data Type: The SQL data type the developer would use Column Store Data Type: The data type of the SAP HANA column store Key field: Indicates if the field is a primary key field Not NULL: Indicates if the field can't be NULL Default: Specifies the default value if an INSERT statement does not provide a value for the column Comment: A descriptive comment for the column Note that the table definition is also automatically opened when you choose a table name in the table list. To open the table content from the table list, right-click the table name, and choose Open Data from the context menu. The RAW data tab opens and shows by default the first thousand rows from the table. The Analysis tab provides some monitoring and problem analysis tools that you might need to help you understand what is happening in the database.
