Exploring Central Requisitioning

Objectives

After completing this lesson, you will be able to:
  • Describe the features offered by Central Requisitioning
  • Describe the various integration scenarios in Central Requisitioning

Central Requisitioning

Now you can see what’s happening across the business without jumping in and out of multiple systems or disrupting existing solutions and workflows you’ve spent years defining and refining.

As a result you can:

  • Centrally manage requisitions across all connected procurement systems.
  • Deliver a consumer-grade, guided buying experience to end users
  • Guide buyers to preferred suppliers and sustainable options, pre-negotiated rates
  • Drive adoption and boost compliance with end users
  • Reduce cycle times and costs with self-service buying
  • Manage source of supply for individual requisitions

Integration Scenarios in Central Requisitioning

The figure shows the Integration Scenarios in Central Requisitioning.

The process starts with the creation of a Central PR via a punch-out catalog, via a free text item, or via another application connected via an OData API. This Central PR is then replicated to the connected system with optional approval and processed there. Casual users can centrally monitor the status of their PR in the hub and make a self-service goods receipt confirmation.
