The Central Configuration Manager is an important administrative tool to manage a BI platform node.
In a Microsoft Windows environment, the CCM allows you to manage local and remote servers through its graphical user interface (GUI) or from a command line.
In a Linux/Unix environment, the CCM shell script (ccm.sh) allows you to manage servers from the command-line.
The CCM allows you to create and configure Server Intelligence Agent (SIA) nodes and start or stop your Web application server (Example: Tomcat).
Note
Most server management tasks are handled through the CMC, not through the CCM.
