Overview
In this session, we explore relations in ABAP data modelling. We will define foreign key relationships in the ABAP dictonary and see how they were used in the past for input checks and value helps. Then we will define associations in the ABAP Core Data Services and see how they are used in the ABAP RESTful application programming model to provide value helps. Finally, we will look at compositions and to-parent-associations, two special types of association that are used to define composite business objects in the ABAP RESTful application programming model.
