Search Functionality Enhancements
To improve the discoverability of learning content, SAP Learning has enhanced the search functionality to deliver more accurate and relevant results.Key improvements:
- Synonym and acronym support: Introduction of a comprehensive set of synonyms, including SAP-specific acronyms, to ensure learners can find relevant results even with varied terminology.
- Refined result highlighting: Improved highlighting logic to better display keyword matches within search results.
- Optimized search ranking: Adjustment of weighting and boosting for key data fields enhancing the overall relevance of top results.
Reimagining certification in the age of AI
SAP Certification released a new way of getting certified via practical assessments. The new practical exams are designed to reflect day-to-day project work – whether that means configuring SAP systems, building applications, analyzing data, or positioning SAP solutions for customers. Instead of answering theoretical questions, the learner complete realistic challenges that show the actual apply your SAP knowledge — configuring systems, building applications, solving problems, or advising customers on solutions.
We have started to convert our full SAP Certification portfolio to the new approach and will have this finished by end of March 2026.

"Other ways to learn": Instructor-led training option
We’ve introduced a new feature that makes it easier to find the instructor-led version of a course directly within the same course template. Learners can now quickly see whether an instructor-led option is available and access it without needing to search separately on training.sap.com.This enhancement supports different learning preferences by giving users a simple way to choose between self-paced learning and a guided experience with an instructor.
