Change SAP ID for assigned licenses via admin console
Learning managers can now change the SAP ID of assigned licenses directly in the admin console using a file upload. This self-service capability simplifies the management of users with multiple or updated SAP IDs and reduces the need for support requests.
The SAP ID update is performed as a bulk operation using existing license upload templates. Before execution, a validation step provides transparency into the number of records that will be updated.
Key features
- Update SAP IDs for assigned licenses via bulk upload
- Use existing file templates to maintain consistency with current processes
- Review validation results before confirming changes
- See how many SAP IDs will be adjusted prior to execution
Constraints
- Only licenses that are already assigned and active can be updated
- The new SAP ID must be in active status
- The new SAP ID can belong to a user outside the current organization
- The email address must match between the existing and new SAP ID
If the email addresses do not match, the request is considered a reassignment and must be handled via support.
Assign licenses before contract starts
Learning managers can now assign licenses to users before a contract becomes active. This feature supports a smooth transition when renewing contracts by allowing early preparation of user assignments.
Future contracts are visible in the admin console and clearly indicated as not yet active. Learning managers can assign licenses both in bulk and individually, in advance of the contract start date.
All license assignments can be updated without restrictions before the contract begins, regardless of whether licenses have already been used.
Key features
- View upcoming contracts in the contract overview
- Assign licenses before contract start (bulk and individual)
- Modify assignments freely before activation
Behavior
- Assigned users receive an onboarding email at the start of the contract
- Access to Learning Hub premium capabilities is only granted once the contract becomes active
