Exploring SAP Personalization Features in SAP Sales and SAP Service Cloud Version 2

In this video, you will learn how to personalize SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2. To personalize your experience, you can enter the personalization mode via the user menu and choose Start Personalization. Within this mode, you can hover over a UI component that you want to modify. This reveals editing options. Selecting the Edit icon opens a configuration panel where UI elements can be managed. Personalization also covers the homepage cards, where you can adapt cards to match your individual needs. These cards provide quick access to key information such as accounts, leads, opportunities, or tasks. By selecting the editing icon, you can manage the available cards within a group, remove cards, and adjust their sequence. This allows you to structure your homepage in a way that gives you immediate access to the most relevant data when you open the app. Go to the Navigation Menu, choose Accounts, and then open an account from the account list page. Here, you see that personalization also extends to page structure through tabs, sections, and fields. You can control which tabs are visible by hiding those that are not relevant to your work. This helps reduce clutter and allows you focus on the most important information. Additionally, you can rearrange the order of tabs to prioritize frequently used content and create a more intuitive navigation experience. When it comes to sections, you can personalize them by hiding those you do not need. In addition, you can change the order of sections to match your preferred workflow and bring frequently used information to the top. To manage sections, select the plus icon and choose Manage Sections. From there, you can add sections from a predefined list or reintroduce previously hidden ones. Another key aspect of personalization is the ability to customize fields. You can decide which fields are relevant for you, hide unnecessary ones, add additional fields from available data sources, and reorder them according to your priorities. This ensures that important information is always visible and reduces cognitive overload. Another feature is the ability to create and personalize filters. In list views, you often need quick access to specific subsets of data, such as open opportunities or high-priority tickets. Instead of repeatedly defining search criteria, you can save filters tailored to your needs. To do this, navigate to a list view such as the accounts list and start the personalization mode. Then, hover over the available filter and choose the edit mode. For quick filters, you can adjust which filter fields are visible and change their order directly in the UI. This allows you to prioritize the most relevant filter criteria. For more advanced scenarios, the advanced filter provides additional flexibility. By selecting the Edit option, you can manage the available filter fields and rearrange their order. In addition, you can structure the filter area by adding or removing sections. For example, you can include sections such as Sales Data or other relevant data groups. In your daily work, you often need quick access to specific subsets of data, such as accounts in a certain region. Instead of repeatedly defining the same criteria, you can create and save your own filters by selecting the filter icon. Here, you can define your criteria using the available fields. For example, you can enter Germany in the Country/Region field to display only accounts located in Germany. After defining your filter, you can save it using the Save option. In the save dialog, assign a name such as German Accounts and confirm your selection. This creates a reusable custom filter based on your defined criteria. Your saved filter is now available in the Filter drop-down at the top of the list. From there, you can easily switch between different views, such as All Accounts or your newly created German Accounts filter, without redefining the criteria each time. Overall, personalization in SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2 empowers you to shape your workspace according to your needs. It reduces complexity, increases efficiency, and ultimately improves user adoption by aligning the system with real-world working styles.
