Beginning with what is currently available as part of the general release May of 2025, SAP Joule for Consultants introduces a significantly enhanced user experience, supporting features like streaming, multithreading, and conversational history to enable more dynamic and interactive consulting workflows. This phase will also broaden accessibility with multi-language support, including key global languages such as English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, allowing consultants worldwide to engage with Joule in their preferred language.
Additionally, this release will provide access to SAP Gated Content, including valuable resources like Activate methodologies, SAP Knowledge Base Articles, SAP Notes, and more, empowering consultants with deeper insights and expert guidance. To support content evolution, Content Lifecycle Management capabilities will also be introduced, enabling structured and scalable content governance.
As we move into the second half of 2025, the roadmap shifts towards Joule Integration, focusing on deeper connections with customer systems and processes. During this phase, limited pilots will explore Customer SAP Content integration, allowing personalized insights tailored to specific customer landscapes. Furthermore, the introduction of Joule Skills Integration will open the door to modular, reusable skills that can be embedded within consulting workflows.
To drive even greater productivity, Agent Integrations will become available, allowing Joule to interact with other digital agents and tools. Coupled with this, enhanced Host Application Knowhow will enable seamless embedding of Joule within core SAP applications, bringing intelligence and guidance directly to where consultants work.
Looking ahead to the Next Level Evolution, the vision is to advance toward Tool-Chain Integration, fostering interoperability with a broader set of tools and systems used by consultants. The roadmap also includes further expansion of Customer SAP Content use, the growth of an Agents Ecosystem, and the development of Customer System Awareness, ensuring that Joule becomes an increasingly intelligent, context-aware assistant that evolves in line with customer environments.
