Setting Up SAP Integration Suite

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to set up SAP Integration Suite.

Introduction

SAP Integration Suite Setup

  1. In your SAP BTP subaccount, go to ServicesService Marketplace.Service Marketplace
  2. You can use the search bar to search for Integration Suite. Then click on the Integration Suite tile.
  3. An overview of the service and available service plans will appear. Service overview
    Click on the Create button at the top right corner.
  4. A pop-up window will appear. Here you can check the service and the service plan. If everything looks good, click on Create.New Instance or Subscription
  5. A pop-up window called Creation in Progress will appear. Click on View Subscription to check your new instance of SAP Integration Suite.Creation in Progress
  6. You are now in the Instances and Subscriptions view of your subaccount. Here you should be able to see your SAP Integration Suite subscription and its current status.Instances and Subscriptions Overview

Now you have created an instance of SAP Integration Suite. When you click on Go to Application you will notice that you don't have access yet. To access SAP Integration Suite, you will need the Integration_Provisionerrole collection, which is now available. This role collection allows you to access SAP Integration Suite and enables you to activate capabilities.

Note

The additional capabilities come with their own sets of role collections. When you activate capabilities, which you will learn in the next lesson, more role collections, such as APIManagement.Selfservice.Administrator will be available. The procedure for assigning role collections to users will be the same.
  1. In your subaccount, go to SecurityUsers. Find your user and click on the arrow next to it.Assign Role Collections
  2. You will see all role collections assigned to your user. Click on Assign Role Collection.
  3. A pop-up window called Assign Role Collection appears. Integration_Provisioner Role Collection
    Select the Integration_Provisioner role collection. Then click on Assign Role Collection.
  4. If you go back to ServiceInstances and Subscriptions and click on Integration Suite, you should now be able to access it. SAP Integration Suite without capabilities

    Note

    If you still can't access SAP Integration Suite after assigning the Integration_Provisioner role collection, wait a few minutes and then try again. Also, try refreshing your browser and clearing out your browser's cache.

Unsubscribe from SAP Integration Suite

If you no longer need the SAP Integration Suite, you can unsubscribe from the service.

Before you proceed, make sure to delete any Process Integration Runtime service instances that were created when activating the Cloud Integration capability. Also, remove your tenant from Formations:

  1. Go to your global account.
  2. Open System Landscape and then Formations.
  3. Select your tenant and choose Delete under Actions.

Then unsubscribe from the service:

  1. Open your SAP BTP subaccount.
  2. Go to Instances and Subscriptions.
  3. Under Subscriptions, select SAP Integration Suite and choose Delete.

Note

Unsubscribing will permanently delete all data related to your subscription in your subaccount. Ensure you have backed up any important data before proceeding.
