Welcome to the optional hands-on exercises for this week.
Note: The exercises focus on setting up trial / free tier accounts in both the platform, however if you have access to enterprise account for SAP BTP and Amazon Web Services and wish to use the same for the exercises, you can use the same.
In this week, you will be learning to develop integration scenarios with SAP Cloud Integration and integrate with Amazon S3 Service.
Please Note: There are changes in the user interface in SAP BTP and AWS services from the time the course was recorded. All these changes will be updated constantly in GitHub repository.
In Week 5 Unit 2 – Setting Up SAP BTP and AWS for integration scenarios, you will learn how to setup SAP Integration Suite in SAP BTP Trial Account and deploy Amazon Web Services Adapter to SAP Cloud Integration.
In Week 5 Unit 3 – Post documents to Amazon S3, you will learn how to connect to Amazon services like Amazon S3 from your SAP Cloud Integration Suite project and build a scenario of posting of the documents from SAP S/4HANA Cloud to Amazon S3 using AWS Webservice adapter in Cloud Integration capability of SAP Cloud Integration Suite.
In Week 5 Unit 4 – Online VAT number validation, you will learn how build a REST API for online validate tax registration numbers of economic operators registered in the European Union for cross border transactions on goods or services using Cloud Integration capability of SAP Integration Suite and Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL).
