The SAP Best Practices for SAP EWM, extra stack are a great way to kick-start your project implementation. They open the discussion during the Explore Phase on how the warehouse processes should work to adapt to business needs. Additionally, they provide a working baseline version of the warehouse in the system, reducing the initial setup effort.
Currently, the following scope items are available:
- Decentralized EWM - Ad Hoc Goods Issue (4RQ)
- Decentralized EWM - Inbound Processing (4RO)
- Decentralized EWM - Outbound Processing (4RP)
- Decentralized EWM - Physical Inventory (4RR)
- Decentralized EWM - Replenishment (4RS)
- Decentralized EWM - Technical Integration ERP (4UA)
Note
If you wish to implement the SAP EWM Best Practices in your project, they must be requested from the SAP ECS team during the provisioning process. This request will extend the provisioning timeline by one week. As the Best Practices deployment is conducted by the ECS Team, the scope items will not include configuration guides.
