Accessing Available Training Platforms and First-Time Access

What is SAP SuccessFactors HCM?

SAP SuccessFactors HCM is part of the SAP Business Suite and provides cloud-based human capital management software applications. It provides support for:

- Core HR and payroll

- Talent management

- HR analytics and reporting, including Story reporting and workforce analytics

- Employee experience management

Since 2001, SAP SuccessFactors HCM solutions have been used by more than 10,000 customers in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM includes cloud solutions in three key areas:

Understanding the SAP Learning Platform

SAP Learning is the newest SAP Learning platform designed to help individuals and organizations build skills and knowledge in SAP technologies, tools, and business processes. Its main purpose is to provide structured learning, training, and certification opportunities to support SAP users, consultants, developers, and administrators.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM customers can access product-specific Customer Training courses such as Project Team Orientation (PTO) and Administration (Admin) Training via the SAP Learning platform at no additional cost.

Learners are required to have any type of SAP user ID linked to an SAP Universal ID. This is necessary for the system to track the learner’s training progress and allow quiz completion.

Note

There are two common types of SAP user IDs: P-user IDs and S-user IDs:

A P-user ID is a public user created through self-registration on the SAP Community, SAP Partner Edge, etc., and is not linked to any specific customer number.
In contrast, an S-user ID is created under a specific customer number and is owned by that customer. This type of user ID is granted by your company’s SAP SuccessFactors HCM Administrator.
Your P-user ID or S-user ID must be linked to an SAP Universal ID created by you. Please visit the SAP Universal ID page to create your SAP Universal ID. When you create an SAP Universal ID, SAP automatically generates a P-user ID for you if you don’t already have one.

Understanding the SAP SuccessFactors Administrator Learning Center (SFALC) Platform

The SAP SuccessFactors Administrator Learning Center (SFALC) is a specific version of the SAP Learning Hub, where the SAP SuccessFactors eXpert Accreditation exams (SFX Accreditation) are hosted.

The SFALC is accessible via the Training & Expert Accreditation (SFX) page of the SAP SuccessFactors Customer Community. Learners are required to have an S-user ID linked to an SAP Universal ID. Please visit the SAP Universal ID page to create your SAP Universal ID and link the S-user ID granted by your company’s SAP Cloud Administrator.

Learners can access product-specific SAP SuccessFactors eXpert (SFX) Accreditation exams and pass an exam to become SFX Accredited.

Instructions for Accessing SFALC:

From the SAP SuccessFactors Community (right hand side navigation under "Browse this topic"), click the Training & Expert Accreditation (SFX) link.
Under the Access SFALC section, click "Access SFALC Here" to get authenticated as an SAP SuccessFactors customer.
As you click on "Access SFALC here", you will be prompted to either register with or log in to the SAP SuccessFactors Administrator Learning Center.

From the SAP SuccessFactors Customer Corner, click on “Click Here To Access SFALC” on the carousel appearing on top right-hand side corner. Then, click on “Log On” – Please note that you need to have an S-user ID to access the site.

If this is your first time accessing SFALC, your SAP user account will be automatically registered, and you will see a "Registration Complete" message.

At this point, your account needs to be provisioned before you can access SFALC.

The Provisioning process may take up to an hour to complete.

You will receive an e-mail with information related to estimated times for enabling your access and next steps.

As you try to access the SAP Learning Hub for the first time, you will be asked to accept the Legal Terms and Conditions, as well as the Data Privacy Consent Statement, by checking the box and clicking the "Accept" button.

You should now be able to see the Learning Hub page with numerous tiles, including the "Welcome to SFALC" tile.
