Usage Scenario
The Kyma modules were introduced in the Kyma Overview lesson. Now that you've explored the basic functionalities of Kyma dashboard, you can learn how to use it to add or delete the modules.
Task Flow
- Add a Kyma module to your Kyma runtime instance.
- Delete a Kyma module from your Kyma runtime instance.
Prerequisites
You have created a Kyma runtime instance in the SAP BTP subaccount.
Task 1: Add Kyma Modules to Your Cluster
Steps
Go to Kyma dashboard.
Choose Modify Modules.
Select Add
Check the modules you want to add. To complete this learning journey, you'll need the following modules: Istio, API Gateway, SAP BTP Operator, Serverless, Application Connector, Telemetry, and Eventing.
Note
If a module is needed for completing a certain exercise, it is listed in its prerequisites. You can add all the modules now at once, or do it gradually as you progress through the learning journey.Select Add.
Result
You've added Kyma modules to your Kyma runtime instance. When you refresh the page, you can see that the added modules are included in the View section. If you want to delete a certain module, choose the bin icon next to it.
