You can define whether totals are displayed in the crosstab, and if they are displayed, you can decide where they are displayed. You can also define how the totals can be calculated. Select the column header containing the measure name and choose the desired option from the Totals menu option in the Analysis ribbon.

By default, totals are usually summed. However, you can change the totals calculation if that is helpful to your analysis. Select the column header containing the measure name and choose the desired option from the Totals→Calculate Totals As menu option in the Analysis ribbon.
