This section describes the functions of the Global Navigation toolbar.

Search
You can search for content within the SAP BI Platform Repository using the BI Launch Pad search.
The search begins to find matches as you enter text. Quick search results appear at the top of the current page. Full results appear on a separate page after you press Enter.
When your text matches words in a document's title or description, the matched words appear in bold.

You can use the following filters:
| Filter | Description |
|---|---|
| Fields | By default, you search all objects' metadata fields, including title, description, and keywords. You can choose to search only the title. |
| Type | By default, you search all documents. You can filter by a specific document type, such as Web Intelligence or Crystal Reports. You can also select All to search all repository administration objects, such as users or jobs. |
| Location | You can filter documents or objects by their parent folder. |
| Refresh Time | You can filter by refresh date range. |
