By activating business function PSCD_INTSIM, you can do the following:
- Simulate interest for a specific date using a dedicated report.
- Display simulated interest items (interest that is due but has not yet been posted) in the business partner overview and in the account balance.
- Generate clarification cases for predated payments (when the value date is in the past) during the payment process.
- Manually or automatically process clarification cases to reverse interest that would not apply if the payment was known when the interest was posted.
- Reset clearings that would have been cleared differently if the payment was known.
- Reverse collection steps that would not have been taken if the payment was known.
