Welcome back to Unit 4, Applying Advanced Terraform Concepts, Lesson 5, summarizing the key learnings and the outcome that we had throughout this course. So we are at the end of our journey and what a journey it was. Absolutely. Let's look at what we have learned. We started by preparing the setup and understanding the first assets. We prepared the Terraform setup with DEV containers. We configured our first Terraform provider and made a basic setup of a subaccount. Having that in place, we looked into one very important aspect of Terraform, namely the Terraform state, and inspected that a bit more. But we didn't stop there, right? No, we took a step on the configuration we already did before, and we made our Terraform configuration much more versatile by introducing variables. We also saw how you can use locals to apply certain naming conventions like for setting up your subaccount, for example. We also added more resources in our code like entitlements and enhanced our Terraform configuration by setting up the Cloud Foundry environment. What else did we do? Well, we level up the game a bit by applying advanced Terraform concepts. Moving from a single provider setup, we enhanced the configuration bringing the Cloud Foundry provider into the game. Then we also looked at a more organizational aspect, namely handing over the assets that we set up to our development team to kickstart their application development. And having done so, we also covered more advanced concepts like modules. With them, we extracted reusable parts of our configuration. And finally, we learned how to iterate over lists using the for each meta argument. So what are the most important takeaways from your point of view, Rui? Yeah. Well, the most important takeaway is that all of you by now should have gotten a basic understanding of Terraform. Great accomplishment. And you did the first steps with the Terraform provider for SAP BTP and the Terraform provider for Cloud Foundry as well. After getting the basic understanding of Terraform and doing our first steps, your journey just started with this course. So now that our learners know all of this, how can they move on, Christian? First, it is important to mention that we have a samples repository in the SAP samples organization on GitHub. You will find the link on the slide. This repository contains a lot of samples covering different scenarios from basic setups to missions from the Discovery Center. This repository is worth exploring. You will certainly find some inspiration there. However, there are areas where you might want to have some deep dives that we can provide like import of existing infrastructure, remote state and drift detection, or orchestrating terraform. Let us know and we will try to be able to provide more learning content based on your demand. With that, we are really at the end of this learning journey.
