Provisioning OEM components

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to provision OEM components in SAP Business Data Cloud

Provisioning SAP Databricks

You provision OEM components, such as SAP Databricks, through SAP for Me, following the same process as other components.

You do not require a specific license from the vendor; instead, the service utilizes your existing purchased credits.

The provisioning process automatically creates a new tenant based on your selected quota.

To provision the service, complete the following steps:

  • Initiate the provisioning of SAP Databricks in SAP for Me.
  • Enter the general details and quota information.
  • Select the Identity Authentication service.
  • Provide the location and owner information.
  • Specify the name for the SAP Databricks formation.

In the following practice exercise, you will walk through the steps to create a new SAP Databricks tenant.

Once the SAP Databricks tenant is provisioned, you must add it to your formation to enable integration.

In this practice exercise, you will learn how to add the SAP Databricks tenant to your SAP Business Data Cloud formation.
