You are a planner, working with your team to create a forecast income statement for your company. The business scenario used in this course to learn about data actions involves creating a detailed labor forecast.
Permissions
The permissions for data actions are set by your system administrator and depend on a combination of role-based permissions for data actions and folder-based permissions in the file repository.
There are many possible combinations of permissions for data actions, but two common ones are data action designer and data action user.
- If you are a data action designer with full permissions for your role, then you will have full permissions for data actions that you access in the file repository.
- If you are a data action user with Read and Execute permissions assigned for data actions, then you can't make changes to the data actions, but you can start them.
More information on permissions can be found in Permissions for Data Actions in the SAP Help Portal.
