Recruiting email triggers provide notification to selected recipients when specific recruiting events occur.
Recruiting email triggers are used to provide notification when the following situations occur:
- An offer has been approved by all approvers.
- An application has been updated by a candidate.
- An applicant has been submitted to a new requisition by an agency.
A complete list of various email triggers can be found by navigating to Admin Center→Recruiting→Recruiting Email Triggers. A user can also enable, update, or disable specific email trigger notification.
Click a trigger link to open the Edit Email Trigger window. In the window, you can view the action that will trigger the email, enable or disable the trigger, select and preview the recruiting email template to be used when the trigger is enabled, and select the individuals who will receive the email notification.
System-specified recipients and "Cc:" or "Bcc:" recipients specified on the recruiting email template are listed. You can specify additional recipients by their role on the requisition, their name, or their email address.
Validate a used token. Each e-mail trigger supports different standard tokens, and the system will alert the user via a warning message when the later(user) includes unsupported standard tokens in a template. To validate standard tokens configured in the template, click on the Validate Tokens button.
