Explaining Reward Statements

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to explain Personal reward statement.

Personal Reward Statements

Compensation administrators can create Reward Statements using standard reward statement templates from SAP SuccessFactors’ online self-service tool, SuccessStore. These are very simple statements with limited customization features. While many organizations invest in having more robust and custom detail statements, standard templates often meet the most basic needs of companies to communicate compensation adjustments to their employees.

Reward templates from SuccessStore include:

  • Standard Compensation statement template
  • Standard Variable Pay statement template
  • Standard Combined statement template

More complex compensation statements requiring multiple currencies, languages, custom layouts, formatting, conditional logic, etc., must be scoped and priced separately. They are implemented in consultation with your SAP SuccessFactors implementation consultant.

Note

The text of a Reward Statement letter and fields can be configured, but the general layout is set. If your company requires more complex statements, be sure to discuss them with your sales representative or implementation consultant prior to kickoff since this is not included in an SOW as part of a standard configuration.

Generated Reward Statements are available to be downloaded and printed from:

  • Admin Interface
  • People Profile
  • Executive Review

Once statements are available, email notifications can be generated to inform employees of their Reward Statements.
