Introducing the Global Template

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to explain purpose of the Global Template in Concur Expense Professional Edition

The Global Template

The Concur Expense Global Template is a standardized, pre-configured template applied to all new customer sites at the time of creation. It is designed to support the most common configuration requirements, statutory obligations, and SAP Concur best practices. Built on extensive global expertise, the template reflects commonly interpreted in‑country and regional legislation to help ensure compliance with local regulatory expectations.

The Global Template provides a consistent foundation for all Concur Expense Professional Edition deployments. Each new customer implementation begins with this baseline configuration, creating a unified starting point that meets widely adopted functional and statutory needs. From there, the template can be tailored to align with an organization’s specific policies, processes, and reporting requirements, simplifying implementation while ensuring a strong, compliant framework from day one.
