The Release Center is an administrator tool that helps you manage software releases from SAP SuccessFactors. It downloads changes that concern SAP SuccessFactors from the What's New Viewer to the Release Center.

Each change that it downloads is called an Article. The Release Center filters the list of articles to the articles that affect you because they concern something that is enabled in your tenant. You can also see content that doesn't apply to you if:
- A change is so important that we think you should always see it. For example, we show you Platform changes because they can affect multiple products and we want you to check them.
- A change affects a majority of our customers, even if it doesn't affect you. For example, most of our customers use localization features, so if we make changes and mark the change with Localization, we show it to you, regardless of whether you have localization turned on or not.
- We aren't confident in our ability to read whether something is enabled in your system. SAP SuccessFactors is a complex suite of individual products with intertwined configuration. When we look at a complex configuration, we can decide it's better to show it than hide it. For example, AI features often span products, modules, and features and connect into SAP Joule.
Set Up Permission Control for the Release Center
To enable the Release Center go to Manage Permission Roles, pick the role where you want to add the Release Center Permissions, choose Edit and Next, and search for Release Center.

Few companies need field level control to match with theis security policy. That is why we offer it in Manage Permission Roles under Release Center Object Permissions.
With the right permission (Assign Users to Articles), you can assign articles to colleagues, set status on articles, and comment on articles. Use the collaborative features to keep track of your workflow.
