SAP Certification practical exams

Watch an SAP learning video and discover how you can validate your skills with scenario-based SAP Certification exams.

You can begin your SAP Certification exam from two places: 

• From the SAP Certification details page via “Go to Certification Exam”
• From the learning journey via “Open”.

To access the SAP Certification exam page, make sure you have a valid certification attempt and that your SAP Universal ID is properly configured.

On this page you’ll find key details about your exam:

• Whether it includes system-based or scenario-based assessments.
• The exact time is available to complete the exam.
• The number of attempts remaining for your certification and for your subscription. 

When you’re ready, click “Start the Certification Exam” to begin. This will start the countdown and launch your exam.

You need to enable microphone access and choose whether you would like to enable camera access. Accept cookies to activate all buttons and begin.
To start the scenario-based assessment, select "Start"

• Upon completing your scenario-based assessment, select 'Save and view analysis' to review your performance and receive your detailed score.
• If you've passed, please proceed to submit.

• Semantic understanding:
  The AI doesn't just look for keywords; it analyzes the "semantic intent" of your answer to see if you truly understand the concepts.
• Expert criteria:
  Each exam objective is graded on a scale of 1 (Insufficient) to 5 (Excellent) based on criteria established by subject matter experts.

Once you start your certification exam attempt, you can choose between two options to complete the scenario-based assessment: 

• AI-guided option (recommended):
  Complete your scenario-based assessment through a virtual interview with our AI-guided tool simulated interview mode. You will be asked real-world questions and records your responses to provide personalized feedback.
• Human reviewer:
  Run your scenario-assessment by recording a video following the on-screen instructions and uploading it for review by an SAP evaluator.
  Once submitted, your video will be validated before results are released.

Please note:
This process may take up to 20 business days.

If you fail a scenario-based assessment and still have time remaining on the clock, you can retake the exam immediately, and it will only count as one exam attempt. You can reattempt the same certification exam up to four separate times in a 12-month period. You must wait 24 hours between exam attempts. If the exam is not successfully completed after four attempts, you must wait a year after the final attempt before being able to take the exam again.

Using the pause button freezes the AI role-play interaction but does not stop the overall exam countdown. Be sure to manage your time accordingly before resuming the exercise. You can take breaks as needed during a practical exam, noting that the timer will continue to run and breaks will not pause the clock.

When submitting an inquiry, provide detailed information in the description to help our team assist you more effectively.

You can swap languages in the 'Language' menu at the bottom left of the video preview in your practice experience. All 22 available languages will appear in a dropdown for you to select your preferred option.
If the practice experience still shows the wrong language after updating your browser settings:
• Ensure your browser is fully restarted after making changes.
• Check that English is set as the top preferred language.
• Clear your browser's cache and try accessing the platform again.
