Do I need an SAP Learning Hub subscription to complete the Stay Certified assessment
Yes. You must have an active SAP Learning Hub subscription to access the Stay Certified assessment and the preparation content. If your subscription has expired, you will not be able to access the assessment.nest to avoid lapsing.
How do I access the Stay Certified Assessment?
- Go to My Learning > Certifications
Certifications with an upcoming due date are sorted at the top, with the most urgent one first. - Select your certification;
- Click the Stay Certified call-to-action to begin.
I have multiple certifications due. Which one should I complete first?
My Learning > Certifications sort your certifications by due date, with the most urgent at the top. Complete the assessment for the certification expiring soonest to avoid lapsing.
2. The Assessment
What type of assessment do I need to complete to stay certified?
Two formats are available: an AI-guided assessment and a standalone quiz. The standalone quiz is available for learners who prefer or require a non-AI option
What is the AI roleplay assessment?
The AI roleplay is an AI-guided, scenario-based assessment that tests your practical knowledge of the most recent product updates. It is one of two formats available in the Stay Certified assessment.
What is a standalone quiz assessment?
The standalone quiz assessment is a multiple-choice quiz option.
Does completing the Stay Certified assessment use one of my certification exam attempts?
No. Stay Certified assessments do not consume your certification exam attempts. You can also retake the assessment as many times as needed to achieve the required pass rate.
3. Extension Rules & Deadlines
When can I take the assessment to extend my certificate?
The possibility to extend the certificate is available throughout the entire validity period of your certificate. When you take the assessment outside of the 90-day window, your extension will be 12 months from the day you passed the assessment.
When does the 90-day Stay Certified window open?
The window opens 90 days before your certification's due date and closes on the due date itself.
If I complete the assessment early, do I lose extension time?
No. Whether you complete the assessment on the first day of the 90-day window or the last, your certification is always extended by 12 months from your original due date.
What is the deadline shown on the platform?
The platform displays the deadline as one day before the system's due date. Complete your assessment by the date shown to ensure your renewal is processed in time.
What happens if I miss my Stay Certified due date?
If you do not pass the Stay Certified assessment before your due date, your certification expires. To regain certification status, you must take the full certification exam again.
4. Reminders & Notifications
How will I know when my Stay Certified is due?
A banner is displayed across SAP Learning when your certification is due within 90 days. If you have multiple certifications, the banner shows your most urgent due date. You can dismiss the banner; it will reappear if your certification status changes.
Will I receive email reminders?
Yes. You will receive a reminder emails 8 weeks, 2 weeks and 1 day prior to the due date based on your Learning Hub license status:
- If your license is active on your due date, the email focuses on completing the Stay Certified assessment.
- If your license expires before your due date, the email warns you that you will lose access to the assessment unless you renew your license in time.
What should I do if my Learning Hub license expires before my certification due date?
Renew your SAP Learning Hub subscription before your certification due date. If your license expires first, you will lose access to the Stay Certified assessment and your certification will lapse.
5. Preparation Content
What learning materials are available to help me prepare?
The Stay Certified page includes delta courses covering new product features since your last certification, as well as upcoming and on-demand live sessions. All materials are accessible directly from My Learning > Certifications.
Do I need to complete the preparation content before taking the assessment?
The Stay Certified path guides you through the recommended steps. The practical assessment is the final step required to extend your certification validity.
6. Badge & Certification Status
When will my certification be extended after passing the assessment?
Your certification validity, due date, and digital badge are updated automatically after you pass the assessment. You will receive a confirmation notification.
How do I access my digital certification badge?
On your Certifications page in My Learning, click the badge image. Your personalized badge link will open regardless of which email address was used when the badge was originally issued.
How can I filter my certifications by status?
On My Learning > Certifications, use the filter to display certifications by: Valid, Due within 90 days, or Expired.
