Choose your certification

  • Find an SAP Certification tailored to your career goals, skill level, and SAP Expertise: Explore available SAP Certifications.
  • Bookmark the certification exam details page – you will need this later!

Set up your universal ID

  • Verify you have a valid SAP Universal ID setup and have at minimum two email accounts assigned.

Ensure you have a valid SAP Learning Hub subscription with remaining certification exam attempts.

  • An active SAP Learning Hub subscription is needed to prepare for the certification exam.
  • To confirm your subscription status, navigate to SAP Learning > My Learning > Subscription.

Prepare for your SAP Certification

  • Access the certification details page for the certification you wish to earn (bookmarked in Step #1).
  • Review the exam topic areas and percentages (the percentage of the exam content that relates to the topic area) to understand the scope of the exam and where to focus your studies.
  • Note the number of exam questions and percentage cut score to realize the required number of correct questions needed to pass the exam.
  • Review the sample questions to get a sense of what will be raised on the exam.
  • The How to prepare tab also provides access to the relevant learning journey(s) that provide the source content for the exam assessment questions.

Tip

Don't skip the basics! We recommend completing the learning journeys, even if you are experienced in any of the topic areas.

Complete the Practice Test Module (where applicable)

  • The Positioning the SAP Business Suite learning journeys have a Practical Test module that must be completed before you can schedule your certification exam.
  • The Practice Test module involves recording and uploading either a video of you demonstrating your skills in presenting the SAP Business Suite message and/or completing a system demo test.
    Complete the activity that best aligns with your personal goals and learning objectives.

Booking your SAP Certification exam

  • After completing a thorough review of the learning journey content including any required Practical Test requirements, return to the Get Certified exam details page to schedule your exam.
  • The resulting Certification Hub homepage provides guidance on the steps to schedule your exam, the technical and location requirements to complete an exam, and what happens once the exam is complete.

  • It is recommended that you review this page in its entirety and install and test the Questionmark Secure platform in advance of your exam date.
  • After setting your Time Zone, schedule an exam via the Exam Dashboard page.
  • Pay special attention to the noted environmental and identification requirements for exam completion:
  • You can access your exam up to 15 minutes before the official exam start time via the Exam Appointments page. This can be helpful in getting the identification and environmental verification steps completed by your proctor in a timely manner.
  • As you complete your assessment, leverage the flagging tool to revisit questions that may require additional review. Take as much time as you need to feel confident in your selections but pay attention to the remaining time.

SAP Certification complete!

  • Your exam results will be displayed shortly after submitting your final responses.
  • If you passed, you will receive an email with instructions to access your Digital Badge.
