Course data included in the dashboard
With the launch of courses* as a new learning format on the SAP Learning Site, we have now included course consumption data in the analytics dashboard as well. You can find detailed consumption data per learner in the Explore and Download sections on the SAP Learning Site tab. This new format has also been included in the calculation of the “Active learners” KPI.
*Currently, two types of courses are available on the SAP Learning Site: former MOOCs from openSAP and StayCertified courses.
Certification attempts used as part of the license included in the Learner data export
A new dimension “Consumed certification attempts” is now available in the Learner data export on the SAP Learning Site and SAP Learning Hub Content Library Tabs.
This dimension covers only certification attempts used within the licenses of the new Learning Hub and Learning Hub Partner Editions. Data in that field is available only for learners with current valid Learning Hub license.
Removal of E_* records from Learner data download/explore
Until 2021 SAP Learning Hub private cloud version customers could manage their licenses with user identities starting with E_. The SAP Learning analytics download and explore section of the learner data still included these records as deactivated users. These E_ user records have been deleted to improve the performance of the analytics dashboard. As the E_ users were deprecated more than three years ago and no learning analytics data are associated with it, the deletion has no impact on other learning analytics data.
Updates to certification data model
The following background updates performed to the certification data model that might influence the number of entries in the exports and “Valid certificates” KPI:
- Exclusion of “Migrated Result” = ‘Yes’
The new certification data model included duplicate records when the learner completed an assessment in the new "get and stay certified" model. By excluding the records for "Migrated result=Yes" duplicates are now prevented.
- Exclusion of “Certification Status” = ‘NULL/BLANK’
The new certification data model also included records where the certification status was not set. These records were not related to actual certificates and have been excluded now.
These changes aim to improve the accuracy of the certification data model.
Columns “Migrated certificate” and “Migrated result” removed
Columns “Migrated certificate” and “Migrated result” removed from the exports. Reason for removal is that these are technical attributes that are only used for metric calculation logic. These dimensions are not intended for use by customers and removal of dimensions will increase the performance.
To check which learners switched to the new certification model, please use the dimension “Old/New Certification Model”.
Integration with SAP Universal ID (UID) enhanced
The integration with SAP Universal ID (UID) has been enhanced. This results in higher availability and more current “UID Country/Region” information
