1. Tracking of migrated SAP certifications

During the retirement process of selected SAP certifications, learners holding the respective active certificate and a compliant Universal ID are granted the designated successor certification. To ensure accurate reporting of the certificates awarded through certification migrations, a new Test Type value was introduced:

  • “Transition”: Certification migration (no exam)
Set filters for expiration date

Transition records do not consume certification exam attempts and are therefore not included in exam-related measures. However, certificates awarded through the migration process are included in Valid Certificates and Certified Learners measures.

Transitioned certificates are now included in the Valid Certificates export and in the default Test Type filter selection within the Certifications view of the Explore and Export Data section.

2. Upcoming major SAP Learning Hub analytics release

A major release of the SAP Learning Hub analytics dashboard is planned for September 21, 2026. The new version will introduce several enhancements designed to improve the overall user experience and data quality. As part of these changes, some existing functionality and navigation will be updated.

Key changes to be aware of:

  • Consistent learner information: learner-related details will be aligned across different Explore and Export Data views to provide a more consistent reporting experience. License Status and assignment dates will be available in the Certifications view, allowing easier identification of learners with upcoming Stay Certified due dates who need a Learning Hub license.
  • Enhanced Explore & Export Data experience: table customization across the different views will be simplified, making it easier to reorder measures and dimensions, create custom calculations, and configure display settings.
  • Accessibility improvements: a dark theme option for the dashboard appearance will be introduced to improve usability and accessibility.
  • More accurate reporting of licensed learners: learning and certifications activities will be evaluated against the relevant contract and license validity periods, and, where applicable, S-user creation and deletion dates. Activity and achievement reporting will be aligned with each learner's entitlement period, providing a more accurate representation of learning consumption and certification activity. As a result, you may notice changes in metrics and historical totals compared to the current dashboard. These differences are expected and reflect the enhanced data processing logic.
