Improved accuracy for course and learning journey - Latest Status

We’ve updated how completion status is calculated for courses and learning journeys. With this improvement, a course or learning journey will only show “Completed” once all required units are finished. As a result, the Latest Status now reflects learners’ actual progress more accurately.

Previously, some learning activities could show Latest Status as “Completed” even when not all required parts of the course or learning journey had been finished. In certain cases, completing only one section — such as a lesson or quiz — caused the overall course or learning journey status to appear as “Completed”. This has now been corrected, and these activities will appear as “In Progress” until all required units are complete.

You may notice changes in the number of learning activities shown as “Completed” or “In Progress” across several dashboard visualizations and in the relevant views of the Explore and Export Data section.

Improved Custom fields display in the Learners view

We’ve improved how Custom fields are displayed in the Learners view of the Explore and Export Data section. Previously, both currently assigned and historical values of the Custom fields were displayed, resulting in multiple rows for the same learner. We’re now displaying only the latest assigned value for each of the Custom 1 to Custom 4 fields.

If a Custom field value needs to be updated, the license manager can do it via the license management tool or by raising a support ticket, if you’re not using the tool yet.

Export option for dashboard charts

We’ve enabled an Export option for all charts, available in the dashboard. From now on you can export the individual chart data points by accessing the quick menu in the top right corner and selecting More Options > Export...

You’ll then be able to save the respective chart data points in a .csv format file.
