Learning activities - Release notes - Q4 2025

To keep you updated on the latest data displayed on the dashboard, we have added a status notice in the top-right corner of every page. From now on, you can find:

• A green notice that indicates the data on the selected page is refreshed according to the daily schedule, providing the date shows of the latest update.

• A yellow notice in case the data loading process is delayed showing the latest available data. As soon as the loading process is complete, the message will be updated to green.

KPIs that use estimated hours from Live Sessions, Courses, and Learning Journeys will be calculated more accurately. 

If a learner completes the same Learning Item multiple times on the same day in Live Sessions, we’ll now count only the last completion for that user and item on that day. This helps prevent overcounting and may slightly reduce Estimated Hours in cases with duplicate same‑day completions. 

You don’t need to take any action, but we recommend reviewing your dashboards or reports to see how this update affects your trends.

Starting November 2025, SAP Certification is evolving into AI-enabled tools and performance-based skills validation in real-world scenarios, introducing practical certification exams.

To incorporate these changes into the dashboard, we:

• Included a new test type value “Exam” to represent the practical certification exam. This distinguishes it from “Base” (initial proctored exam) and “Delta” (Stay Certified assessment). The “Exam” Test Type indicates an initial system-based or scenario-based practical assessment attempt.

• We optimized the Attempts and New Certificates metrics to include “Exam” attempts and resulting certificates. You should expect to see an increase in these measures for the current month. Valid Certificates and Certified Learners KPIs already include learners who took practical certification exams.
• We included the “Exam” test type in the default Certifications view of the Explore and Export Data section and the Valid Certificates export.

For SAP Learning Hub customers who started using the License Management UI, learner licenses were sometimes double-counted. We have improved the calculation, and the Assigned Licenses measure is now updated correctly. You may notice a decrease in the impacted figures.
