Marco is a functional consultant. He needs to guide a customer through a new SAP Ariba deployment. After reviewing the customer's current business processes, Marco will work with the customer project team to configure a new realm to meet their requirements.
Jenny is a member of the Customer Project team. She will participate in data collection and configuration efforts for her company during the SAP Ariba deployment.
The difference between the test realm and the production realm are:
- Test Realm: Test realms are used for sandbox testing of features and functionality.
- Production Realm: Production realms are used for live realm for real world events, contracts and projects.
NoteThe data and configuration can be partially copied from Test to Production. A move to Production does entail manual configuration and data loading, which is traditionally handled by a member of SAP Ariba Shared Services during a deployment.
