Introducing Guided Buying Users

Objectives

After completing this lesson, you will be able to:

  • Identify user types within guided buying

Guided Buying Users

Guided buying is for casual users who make infrequent purchases and functional buyers who purchase goods and services for their departments. It makes it simpler for users to find what they’re looking for and lets your procurement department offer tailored help content when users need more guidance.

Procurement professionals from your organization's procurement department help configure and roll out guided buying. They can operate in decentralized business units, while guided buying improves procurement policy compliance through built-in policies.

Guided Buying System Permissions

Customer administrators must assign users the appropriate system permissions to access guided buying data and functionality.
