Configuring SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway in SAP ERP System

The SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway, add-on for SAP ERP and the SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway, add-on for SAP S/4HANA are available for download from the SAP Service Marketplace. To access and download the relevant add-on, complete the following steps:

1. Navigate to SAP Service Portal with one of the following Links: Software Downloads or One Support Launchpad(opens in a new tab).
2. In the SAP Support Portal, choose Software Downloads. The SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA software components and their support packages are available for download.

For general instructions on the installation of add-ons, refer to SAP Note 1841471, Release strategy for ABAP add-ons for interface components. This SAP Note also provides guidance on planning the installation of the ABAP add-on for interface components on application back-end systems.

SAP provides the following authorization objects and classes:

• ACIG: Authorization object class
• ARBCIG_CLS: Authorization Object for SAP Ariba Class Objects
• ARBCIG_RFC: Authorization Object for Remote Function Call (RFC)
• ARBCIG_PRG: Authorization Object for program execution
• ARBCIG_SPR: Authorization Object for Add On Special Programs

As part of SAP Business Network Supply Chain Collaboration, buyers can add attachments (such as PDFs) and comments to documents originating on their side (such as Purchase Orders). Likewise, the supplier can add attachments and comments to documents that originate from their side (such as Advance Ship Notices). For the attachments and comments added to be visible to the correspondent, the document type must support this integration.
