About this course

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Define the structure of a local project and identify its key components.
  • Create local and secured relational connections, ensuring data source compatibility by consulting the Product Availability Matrix (PAM).
  • Build a data foundation by identifying and inserting standard tables, explaining different types of joins and their use cases, and implementing derived tables by writing and validating SQL statements.
  • Build a comprehensive business layer by creating and configuring its three core object types: dimensions to establish the context for analysis; attributes to provide descriptive detail for dimensions; and measures for quantitative analysis, including their aggregation properties.
  • Deploy a universe to a repository and create analytical content, such as a document in SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence and a story in SAP Analytics Cloud.
