In addition to price activation, this also involves generating an allocation table. You generate procurement documents from the allocation table. Discover Retail Functions and Business Processes in SAP S/4HANA Retail

Welcome to the retail industry in SAP. This learning journey focuses on the solution capabilities of SAP S4 HANA Retail for Merchandise Management. In the six units, you'll learn the basic concepts, requirements planning from supplier to distribution center, replenishment planning for stores, store operations and retail promotion with merchandise distribution. We will also introduce you to the SAP Customer Activity Repository, or SAP C.A.R. solution, and its application bundle, C.A.R.A.B. at various stages, as its functionality is closely connected to many SAP retail processes, as is SAP Forecasting and Replenishment. You will learn the SAP retail core features and functions, master data management, buying, logistics, and typical sales to store operation applications, SAP Fiori. The S4HANA retail functionality is complemented by industry cloud services and solutions, such as the SAP Omnichannel Pricing and Promotion Service, and solutions from our partner ecosystem, all framed by comprehensive analytics content to, for example, support business users in decision making throughout the enterprise. SAP Customer Experience, or SAP CX, provides a range of solutions, which aim at putting your customer in the center for cross-platform marketing. The Role-based User Experience, or UX, approach helps to provide everyone with the right amount of information and relevant capabilities in a clear and efficient manner. All this is shown using a fictitious retail company, IDES Retail, Inc. US, used to map examples of typical retail structures, master data, and system settings. It therefore forms the basis for performing processes typical to retail. The company runs own distribution centers, or DCs, and stores, and external business partners, vendor and wholesale customer master records are created. The processes mainly focus on retail scenarios, where sales transactions to anonymous customers are processed using point of sale or POS systems, and stores will be supplied with merchandise by either distribution centers or external vendors. Of course, also the DC stocks must be filled up regularly. IDES Retail Inc. US also has a small wholesale branch, and therefore the SD sales order processes are also going to be covered in this course. We hope you enjoy learning with SAP Learning.
