Standard Validation Phase
After a successful validation of all modules and the complete product, the engineering manager documents the results (the current status of all designs). With successful validation of the engineering design, the responsibility moves from the engineering department to the manufacturing department for production preparation.
Master data like products or material BOMs are extended to plant specific data, classification takes place and Variant Configuration is used for variant rich products.
