Drilldowns are relationships between charts. Planners can build drilldowns to further analyze data at a more granular level.
The Analytics Advanced application allows you to build a chart with drilldown functionality. You can navigate between chart levels by double-clicking the object or using the drilldown menu. The parent chart passes the selection information to the child chart. It is no longer necessary to first create the charts, and then link them together using a drilldown object. With the modern releases of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), drilldown can be built from the parent chart to the subsequent chart(s) in one step.
