Employee Data Changes
An existing employee may have certain life or job events that trigger edits to their employee information. There are a variety of reasons why employee master data might be changed or corrected in the relevant infotypes.

Employee Data Changes
There is a close connection between payroll and time management as well. There are many entries in time management infotypes (which are numbered between 2000 and 29,999), that are relevant to payroll, such as:
- Infotype 2001 (Absences): vacation
- Infotype 2005 (Overtime): additional time over and above their normal hours
- Infotype 2006 (Absence Quotas): vacation time such as annual leave
- Infotype 2010 (Employee Remuneration Info): overtime with specific wage types (like when overtime is mandatory)
