Users and authorizations
Please provide a background user with following PFCG roles:
SAP_SDF_ALM_METRIC_PUSH_FND*, SAP_SDF_ALM_METRIC_PUSH_BPMON and SAP_MANAGED_BPOANA_ALL
Please provide a dialog user with following PFCG roles: SAP_SDF_ALM_SETUP and access to transactions SE16, ST13, SLG1
Certificates
Please install the certificate chain that can be downloaded directly from the SAP Process Insights App.
Parameter
Please set the value of parameter icm/HTTPS/client_sni_enabled to 'true'
Proxy settings
The connection between the managed system and SAP Process Insights is established through a HTTPS connection. In case any proxies are being used, these need to be maintained when establishing the connection in TA/SDF/ALM_SETUP or directly in the system connection.

Process to setup SAP Process Insights on SAP BTP
- Global Account is provisioned automatically
- Create Subaccount if not already done
- Setup entitlements
- Create Service Instance
- Create space
- Create Service instance
- Create Service Key
- Configure Identity Provider
- Maintain user
Browser for SAP Process Insights:
The latest versions of Google Chrome, Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox are recommended and can be used.
Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge are not supported.
