Creating a Pause Schedule

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to creating a Pause Schedule

Creating a Pause Schedule

The subscription pause schedule defines the period where no billing takes place. A reason must be selected from the Reason for Pause menu. A reason for a pause is configured in the Manage Business Configuration app. Set a pause in the Pause Date field. An end date for a pause is optional and is set in the Resume Date field. Note that the resume date can take place after a subscription expiration date. Pauses do not pause the billing of usage charges. To avoid usage charges being sent to the system, make a change in the system usage records.  If needed, use the notifications with reference to pauses.

We mentioned configuring a reason for a pause in the Manage Business Configuration app. Let’s do this now.

A subscription can be set to one of several statuses, including pause. Next, we’ll cover the other available statuses.
