In this lesson, we look at how assigning an allowance template to a product defines an allowance of usage data.
Allowance templates are created in the Manage Allowance Templates app. The Manage Allowance Templates app allows you to define a specific allowance, which can be later used in a product.. The system has an option to add a corresponding allowance template to a product once a subscription is created. For example, if you would like to include 100 usage data at a one-time price of €2.99 to a product, you would create a template for one or more markets and later assign the template to the product. As a result, every subscription that includes this particular product will include an allowance of 100 usage data. An allowance template also allows you to define the duration of an allowance.
To assign an existing allowance template to your product, look below the Allowance Templates tab and select the Add button. Then select the appropriate allowance template. Once assigned, the template information will display.
